World Architecture Festival 2016 : The World Architecture Festival (WAF) today announces that the deadline for entries for the 2016 WAF Awards has been extended to 10 June 2016, giving architects a final chance to submit their projects for global recognition.The deadline extension has been granted due to increased demand from practices requesting more time to complete their entries.

As the festival moves to Berlin after four years in Singapore, WAF organisers have received many enquiries from new practices and have granted an additional three weeks to hopeful entrants wishing to submit across the festival’s 31 categories. This year’s World Architecture Festival will take place at Arena Berlin from the 16 – 18 November 2016 – one of the German capital’s best-known venues for cultural events situated next to the River Spree.
Shortlisted nominees will present their projects live to an international jury over three days of live judging critiques, competing for the ultimate accolades of World Building of the Year and Future Project of the Year 2016.
