Architect Teresa Sapey : The main attractive on the challenge raised by Indigo Hotel was to create a natural space on the heart of Madrid. Due to the urban character of the hotel, Architect Teresa sapey’s objective was to endow with color and relaxed ambience on the terrace, that culminates on an aquatic and botanic universe.

With a great views from the Madrid sunset, this was the perfect frame to create a happy and fun ambience, for a complete disconnection from the city. Through the different visual foci it is conceived an utopian design with a pop soul, where the main protagonist is the vinyl vertical garden.

Downstairs it is located the Sky Lounge and cocktail bar, a fresh continuation from the terrace but with a cozier and more intimate touch. A comfortable place opened to the views of Madrid through its infinity pool. It is clearly recognizable the marine inspiration that continues with the nature colors, blue and green. It is fundamental to talk about the chosen materials and textures for the furniture: wood, velvet, mirror, metal and vinyls. All these materials contribute to increase the sophistication and turn the furniture into jewelry pieces

The disposition of refined decoration works in creating a distinctive and intimate environment. As a wink to the hotel’s location in the city, we have place a map of Madrid on the roof of the restaurant built in mirror and with references to the main streets of the neighborhood. This is Architect Teresa sapey‘s particularly tribute to the Indigo Hotel, which always keeps a special relationship with the neighborhood where the hotels are located.
