The winner of the 2015 Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Award is announced at The World Architecture Festival (WAF). The overall winner of the Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Award in association with Sto and supported by World Architecture Festival (WAF) is Fernando Guerra. Fernando Guerra had the highest scoring image overall with this image of EPFL Quartier Nord, Ecublens, Switzerland. The category ‘Buildings in Use’ and the Architect: Richter Dahl Rocha & Associés.

The winner was announced at the Gala Dinner of the World Architecture Festival in Singapore and presented by Paul Finch of WAF to Lynne Bryant of Arcaid and David Tyndall, Managing Director of StoSEA. The prize for this prestigious award is $3,000 and exposure in the exhibitions and press. Our international panel of judges for this year’s prize was: Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga, Architects (Barcelona); Amy Croft, Curator, Sto Werkstatt (London); Katy Harris, Head of Communications, Foster + Partners (London); Nick Hufton and Allan Crow, Photography (London); Ian Moore, Architect (Sydney); Clifford Pearson, Deputy Editor, Architectural Record (New York); and Christine Murray, Editor, Architectural Review (London)

The runners up are in the category of Exteriors were photographers Su Shengliang Building for Long Museum West Bund Place and Country at Shanghai where the China Architect was Atelier Deshaus

In another category of Sense of Place, the runners up was the image from photographer Tom Roe for Building Kandalama Hotel Place in Dambulla at Sri Lanka Architect. The building architect was Geoffrey Bawa. click here to read full article….
