World renowned Car manufacturer Renault has commemorated the 50th anniversary of the death of Le Corbusier in the most astonishing way. Renault had created aCorbusier concept car that showcases his Modernist architecture designs.
This was unveiled few days back. This new car is a Coupe C car which features graphics around each of the front wheels. This is designed to show that a section of the car’s body has been uplifted – which gives a great reference to Le Corbusier’s penchant for raising sections of his architecture structures.
The Corbusier Car has dark panels which are in great contrast with the car’s silver shining body. Car has a prominent front grille made up of angled slats with thin headlights positioned either side of a long bonnet.
In a statement, Renault said “The ideas of simplicity, a visually – and aesthetically – pleasing structure, geometric elegance and mastery of light guided the designers in the creation of the Coupé C concept car”. click here to read full article….
